Domain Registration
We include for the registration of one UK domain name of your choice, in your firm's name, with each templated package (eg firmname.co.uk). We then charge a renewal fee of £20 + VAT when the initial 2 years expires. Further domain names can be registered at any time for a cost of £20 + VAT for 2 years for UK domain names (.co.uk, .ltd.uk, org.uk) and £30 + VAT for 2 years for US domains (.com, .info, .biz, .net, .org). You can transfer existing domain names to us if you wish - there is an additional £15 + VAT admin charge for the transfer of US domain names. We do not make a charge if you want to transfer domains away from us.
Basic domain handling
Our website packages include for hosting your domain and providing web forwarding to the website files we hold for you under our own account. This will give you a web address of www.firmname.co.uk, but we cannot provide visitors stats on this basis. We will also give you up to 5 mailboxes based on your domain name eg enquiries@firmname.co.uk, which will each foward mail on to a current mailbox for collection eg john@hotmail.co.uk. This means that both your website and your e-mail addresses use the same basis of firmname.co.uk, making them easier to remember.
If you ask us to register additional domain names for you we will "point" them to your main web address at no additional charge to the registration cost (some people like to buy both the .co.uk and the .com versions of their domain names to prevent plagiarism).
